Question:172 Mr. Nealon asked the Minister for the Environment when he will inform (1) Sligo County Council and (2) Sligo Corporation of the details of funds being made available for new house building, that is, housing allocation for 1990.
I propose to take Questions Nos. 171 and 172 together.
The allocation for their housing construction programmes in 1990 were notified to housing authorities on 22 February 1990. Sligo County Council were allocated £325,000 and Sligo Corporation £438,000, to enable them to meet commitments in 1990 on their existing approved programmes and to provide for the commencement-purchase of 12 and 28 additional houses, respectively.
