229 Mr. Nealon asked the Minister for Education if, in view of reports of the Government's intention to close one of the two colleges of home economics, she will give an assurance that there is no decision or any plans to close St. Angela's College, Sligo, at present or in the future.
230 Mr. G. Reynolds asked the Minister for Education if she will make a statement regarding the future role of St. Angela's College for Home Economics, Sligo; and the plans, if any, the Government have to close the college.
I propose to take Questions Nos. 229 and 230 together.
No decision has been taken to close St. Angela's College.
