Local Government (Water Pollution) (Amendment) Bill, 1989: [ Seanad ] Financial Resolution.

I move:

That, for the purpose of any Act of the present session to amend and extend the Local Government (Water Pollution) Act, 1977, and (in so far as it relates to water pollution) the Fisheries (Consolidation) Act, 1959, and to provide for other matters connected with the matters aforesaid, it is expedient to make provision for the payment of such fees as may be specified by the Minister for the Environment by regulations—

(a) to An Bord Pleanála in respect of certain appeals, and

(b) to local authorities and sanitary authorities in respect of applications for certain licences and certain reviews of licences."
