Question:48 Mr. Shatter asked the Minister for Finance the date on which the term of office of the Wildlife Advisory Council expired; and when a new council will be appointed.

The term of office of the Wildlife Advisory Council expired on 20 March 1987. At present I am examining the role of the council vis-à-vis that of the Heritage Council in relation to wildlife and consequently have not yet decided on the appointment of members to the council.
