143 Mr. Carey asked the Minister for the Environment if he will give urgent approval to the application by Clare County Council for funds under the small scheme improvement works for Feakle water supply, County Clare, having regard to the fact that public notices have been issued instructing residents not to use the current polluted water.

A proposal to develop a new water supply source for Feakle under the small schemes programme is being examined in my Department at present and a decision will issue as soon as possible.
