31 Mr. Ryan asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if his attention has been drawn to remarks by the EC Commissioner for Agriculture in the European Parliament that the elimination of fraud is one of his major priorities; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Yes, and I have fully supported and will continue to back actions by the European Commission to eliminate fraud.
