Vol. 397 No. 5

Written Answers. - Amenities/Recreational Facilities Scheme.

Jimmy Deenihan

Question:

148 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for the Environment the reason the amount of grants recommended by Kerry County Council under the amenities/recreational facilities scheme 1990 was reduced from £6.3 million to £1,746,000 as outlined in his reply to Parliamentary Questions Nos. 148 and 155 of 21 March 1990.

The total of the grant applications recommended to me by Kerry County Council under the scheme is £5.854 million. I regret that, arising from an error in calculation, the figure of £1.746 million was quoted in the reply of 21 March.
