Question:96 Mr. Hogan asked the Minister for the Marine when a sea fishing licence will be granted to persons (details supplied) in County Kerry.

I indicated to the House on 25 October 1989 that I had suspended consideration of licence applications pending the outcome of a review of licensing policy initiated by me in August 1989. I have received the report of the review group which I am studying and I will take decisions without delay on the applications on hands when I have reached conclusions on the licensing policy to apply in future.
