Question:110 Mr. M. Kitt asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when headage grants, cow grants and calf grants will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Galway.

This applicant's payments under the 1989 suckler cow and special beef premium schemes are being processed and will issue shortly. He has been requested to forward particulars of his spouse's off-farm income and also documentary evidence of lands owned by him so that his application for grants under the 1989 beef cow and equines headage scheme can be considered further. He did not apply for 1989 calf premium.
