Vol. 397 No. 5

Written Answers. - Training and Development Facilities.

Dick Spring

Question:

113 Mr. Spring asked the Minister for Labour if he will outline the arrangements, if any, which exist to enable unemployed workers in Northern Ireland to avail of training or development facilities in the Republic; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Unemployed persons from Northern Ireland who satisfy the normal criteria for admission to courses operated by FÁS are treated in the same manner as residents of the Republic.
