Vol. 397 No. 9

Written Answers. - Testing of Cattle.

Madeleine Taylor-Quinn

Question:

151 Mrs. Taylor-Quinn asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the present procedure in relation to testing of cattle; and if there is any basis to reports that the test days are being put back from 120 to 60 days.

I presume the Deputy is referring to bovine TB testing. I am advised by the director of ERAD that the adequacy of the existing 120-day premovement test is under review. A final decision has not yet been made in the matter.
