Question:

157 Mrs. Taylor-Quinn asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if the remainder of a headage grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Clare.

The first named person is the sole registered herdowner of the herdnumber quoted and he has already been paid the balance due to him under the 1989 cattle and equines headage scheme.

158 Mrs. Taylor-Quinn asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if full payment of a headage grant will be made to a person details supplied) in County Clare.

This applicant has already been paid the balance due to him under the 1989 cattle and equines headage scheme and the full amounts due to him under the 1989 sheep headage, suckler cow premium, calf premium schemes and an advance payment under the 1989 ewe premium scheme. Payment of the balance of 1989 ewe premium cannot be made until July-August 1990 after inspections under that scheme have been completed.

This applicant has already received an advance payment under the 1989 cattle and equines headage scheme.

Payment covering the balance due under that scheme and the full amounts due to him under the 1989 calf premium, suckler cow premium and special beef premium schemes are being processed and will issue shortly.
