Vol. 397 No. 9

Written Answers. - Driving Test.

Frank Crowley

Question:

222 Mr. Crowley asked the Minister for the Environment when a person (details supplied) in County Cork will be called for a driving test.

In this case, a driving test was arranged for 20 October 1989. The notification of the test appointment indicates that a test will not be conducted and that the applicant will forfeit his fee if the test vehicle is not in a roadworthy condition. On 20 October the test was not conducted because the tester considered that the test vehicle was not in a roadworthy condition.

The person concerned has not reapplied for a test.
