Question:

285 Mr. R. Bruton asked the Minister for Health if the Dental Council has yet made arrangements for the recognition of dental technicians as denturists, as provided for under the Dental Act; and if he has considered using his power under the Act to direct the Dental Council to make the necessary provisions.

I have asked the Dental Council to objectively review the establishment of a grade of denturists and I expect to receive its report in this regard in June 1990. I will further consider the situation when I receive that report.
