Question:298 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Health when he will sanction a second ear, nose and throat surgeon for the South Infirmary Hospital, Cork.
Written Answers. - ENT Surgeon Appointment.
I gave approval some months ago to the appointment of a second Consultant ENT Surgeon post for the South Infirmary/Victoria Hospital and the Southern Health Board. Interviews for this post were recently held by the Local Appointments Commission and its recommendation is awaited by the hospital.
