Vol. 397 No. 9

Written Answers. - Special School Pupil Placement.

Jim Mitchell

Question:

306 Mr. J. Mitchell asked the Minister for Education if a place in a special school has been found for a person (details supplied) in Dublin 22; the name of the special school in which he will be placed; the date on which the placement will commence; if no place has been found to date, when she will be in a position to find the child a place in a special school; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

The child in question is at present resident in a short-term assessment centre at Warrenstown House, Dublin 15. There is also a special school attached to this centre and I understand that he has been a pupil there since 10 April 1990.
