Written Answers. - County Kerry Project Funding.

Question:

308 Mr. Spring asked the Minister for Education the portion of the £96,000 of national lottery funds granted to 11 west Kerry projects as announced on 5 August 1989 which has been spent; and if she will identify the projects which have been completed.

Expenditure totalling £73,920.07 has been made and the following projects have been completed: (1) Ceann Sibeál Golf Club; (2) Slí Chorcha Dhuibhne; (3) Orchard Town Park, Dingle; (4) Dingle Diving Centre; (5) St. Brendan's Sailing School, Dingle; (6) Cappanalea Outdoor Education Centre; (7) German Promotion of Golfing Holidays at Dún an Óir; (8) Ring of Kerry Walking Route.

One project has been cancelled and arrangements are being made for the early completion of the remainder.
