Vol. 400 No. 9

Written Answers. - Foreshore Licence.

Michael Moynihan

Question:

120 Mr. Moynihan asked the Minister for the Marine if he has received an application for a foreshore licence under the Foreshore Act, 1933 for the development of 12 acres of foreshore land in Dingle Harbour, County Kerry; and if a decision has been made on the application.

In accordance with the provisions of the Foreshore Act, 1933, the proposal was advertised in The Kerryman and in Kerry's Eye in March 1990. In addition, a site plan of the area and drawings of the proposed works were placed on display at Dingle Garda station.

A number of responses have been received and these are at present being examined in my Department. No decision has yet been taken on the application.
