Vol. 400 No. 9

Written Answers. - County Wexford Road Safety.

Brendan Howlin

Question:

171 Mr. Howlin asked the Minister for the Environment if he will sanction the provision of warning lights on the N25 between Wexford and New Ross to warn motorists of the danger of cattle crossing.

The problems facing farmers herding livestock across the N25 is the subject of correspondence between my Department and Wexford County Council at present. On receipt of a report from the local authority in the matter, the question of appropriate measures for improving safety will be considered.
