214 Mr. Ryan asked the Minister for Education, in view of the fact that agreement has been reached between the County Dublin Vocational Education Committee and the Commissioners of Charitable Donations and Bequests for the purchase of the site for the proposed new Fingal community college at Swords, County Dublin, since 1 May 1990, when she will sanction the purchase by the vocational educational committee of the necessary prefabricated classrooms which are required for September 1990.

215 Mrs. Owen asked the Minister for Education if she will provide additional accommodation for Fingal community college, Swords, County Dublin for the school year commencing September 1990; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

I propose to take Questions Nos. 214 and 215 together.

The accommodation requirements of Fingal community college for September 1990 are currently being examined and a decision on the Vocational Education Committee's request for temporary accommodation will be taken as soon as the school's needs have been fully assessed.
