Vol. 401 No. 2

Written Answers. - County Limerick National Monument Designation.

Michael Finucane

Question:

52 Mr. Finucane asked the Minister for Finance if he will designate the Abbey in Croagh, County Limerick as a national monument; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Arrangements will be made to have this monument registered under the National Monuments Acts. This will ensure that no unauthorised works are carried out to the monument, or in its vicinity without at least two months prior notice being given to the Commissioners of Public Works.
