164 Mr. Deasy asked the Minister for the Environment if he will approve the Ballygarron group water scheme at Dunmore East, County Waterford, in view of the fact that the local contribution has been collected and all the necessary documentation has been sent to his Department.

Waterford County Council approved the scheme on condition that the watermains are upsized to cater for the future development needs of the area. My Department is reviewing the cost of the scheme to take account of the council's proposal and with a view to the allocation of grants.
