Question:178 Mrs. T. Ahearn asked the Minister for the Environment if he will outline the way in which the amount of a reconstruction grant payable to a person (details supplied) in County Tipperary was determined.

Maximum grants of £400 and £800 were approved in this case in respect of the provision of sewerage facilities and a bathroom extension respectively. Grants of £233 and £1,754 were approved in respect of water facilities and repairs respectively, being two-thirds of the cost as calculated by an inspector of the Department in accordance with the conditions of the scheme.
