Industrial action by members of the Civil and Public Service Union, which represents clerical and staff officer grades, has ceased and arrangements are being made to finalise settlement details.
The Public Service Executive Union which represents executive grades has been taking limited industrial action since 20 June 1990 in furtherance of a claim for certain promotions. Efforts are being made to find a basis for resolving this dispute.
