186 Mr. Sherlock asked the Minister for Health if he will outline in respect of (a) 1989 and (b) to date in 1990 the number of (1) new consultant posts and (2) existing consultant posts filled by Comhairle na nOispidéal in each health board area.
The statutory function of Comhairle na nOispidéal is to approve the filling of consultant posts, both new and replacement.
The numbers of posts approved by comhairle for the period May 1989 to May 1990 are as follows:
