Vol. 401 No. 6

Written Answers. - Application Delay.

Frank Crowley

Question:

104 Mr. Crowley asked the Minister for Finance when the Wildlife Service of the Office of Public Works will deal with an application (details supplied); when the application was lodged; when a decision will be made; and if he has satisfied himself that there has not been an undue delay in this case.

The query to which the Deputy refers was received on 30 April. It requested information as to whether an area shown on the map enclosed with the query was an area of scientific interest.

As the map supplied with the query was on a different scale to the official maps showing areas of scientific interest there was some difficulty in identifying the area.

This information was conveyed to the person involved on 5 July with the request for further information to help to identify the area. To date this further information has not been supplied.

I am satisfied that there has been no undue delay in this case.
