Written Answers. - County Donegal Piped Water Service.

Question:

225 Mr. Harte asked the Minister for the Environment if his attention has been drawn to the need for a piped water service in the Iskaheen-Ballyboe area, County Donegal, where local residents have formed a group water scheme and for which Donegal County Council have submitted revised estimates to his Department for approval; and if, in view of the urgency involved, he will sanction the grants.

My Department are awaiting the submission of revised drawings for the proposed scheme, together with revised quotations for pipes. When this documentation is received, further consideration will be given to grant approval.
