Question:257 Miss Quill asked the Minister for the Environment when approval will be given for the drainage scheme on Old Whitechurch Road/Mallow Road, Cork; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Contract documents for this scheme have been received in my Department but, having regard to the existing level of commitments and the competing demands for high priority schemes, it is not possible to say when the scheme can be approved.
