Question:276 Mr. Howlin asked the Minister for Health if there will be a separate suite in the new wing of Wexford General Hospital for gynaecological surgery.
I propose to take Questions Nos. 275 and 276 together.
The newly constructed Phase 1 Development, Wexford General Hospital, includes two self-contained theatre suites with the appropriate level of reception, recovery and ancillary services.
In line with the normal provision within hospitals of this scale, the facilities do not include a separate suite for gynaecological surgery.
