Vol. 402 No. 1

Written Answers. - Departmental Estimate.

Bernard Allen

Question:

37 Mr. Allen asked the Taoiseach if he will outline which Department's Estimate will fund the fitting out of the proposed National Museum building in the Custom House Docks, Dublin 1, as it was stated by the Secretary of his Department that it will cost £8 million.

Details of the precise costings and arrangements for developing the new museum at the Custom House Docks have not yet been firmly determined. Any cost arisings from the fittingout of the Museum which are to be borne by the State would be met from my Department's national lottery allocation for arts and culture.
