Vol. 402 No. 1

Written Answers. - Tax Refund.

Mervyn Taylor

Question:

90 Mr. Taylor asked the Minister for Finance if arrangements can be made to pay the refund of tax due to a person (details supplied) in Dublin 24 having regard to the fact that the person concerned is in very poor financial circumstances and in urgent need of the refund to which she is entitled; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that the inspector of taxes has written to the taxpayer for additional information. On receipt of this information the inspector will be in a position to deal with her claim to a refund of tax.
