Question:

104 Proinsias De Rossa asked the Minister for Finance (a) the total amount of PAYE taxation collected in County Wexford in (i) 1979 and (ii) 1989, (b) the total amount collected from the self employed, including farmers, in County Wexford in (i) 1979 and (ii) 1989 and (c) the total amount of VAT collected in County Wexford in 1989.

I am informed by the Revenue Commissioners that the figures requested by the Deputy are not available because statistics of amounts collected in income tax and VAT are not broken down by county.
