Question:123 Mr. Garland asked the Minister for the Marine the current position regarding the rebuilding of Roundstone Pier, County Galway; if he will make available the engineering report which was sought by the local community; his views on whether this pier should now be rebuilt due to the fact that the position has deteriorated and fishermen are finding it increasingly difficult to work from the remaining quayside; if his attention has been drawn to the fact that since the head of the pier collapsed the wave pattern has changed and the harbour is setting shallower so the fishermen frequently have to move the trawlers into the bay at 4 a.m. and that this is a cause of concern to the whole Roundstone community; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
