Vol. 402 No. 3

Written Answers. - School Transport.

Liam Aylward

Question:

139 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Education if she will arrange to have school transport provided for a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny.

Rower national school, the nearest school, is the appropriate school for the child in question for transport purposes. Concessionary fare paying transport to another school may be allowed subject to the agreement of the appropriate school and provided accommodation is available on the service. In this case, however, I understand that accommodation is available only on the evening service to Graiguenamanagh national school.
