39 Mr. Sherlock asked the Minister for the Environment if he has received an application from Cork County Council regarding the provision of funding for traffic route lighting in the Mallow area; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
A proposal has been received from Cork County Council for the replacement of part of the public lighting system on the national primary route in Mallow. The proposal is under consideration in my Department. The question of providing funds for the work will be considered when the road grant allocations for 1991 are being determined.
