Question:63 Mr. M. Brennan asked the Minister for Social Welfare when unemployment assistance will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Galway.

The person concerned applied for unemployment assistance on 25 May 1990.
His means have been assessed at £54.20 per week derived from the capital value of land. He is not entitled to unemployment assistance as this level of means exceeds the maximum weekly rate payable in his case, £45.00.
He is being notified of this decision and of his right of appeal.
