45 Mr. Spring asked the Minister for the Marine (a) the funds (b) the resources and (c) the ideas or other supports he plans to contribute towards the effort of Dublin as the European Community's cultural capital for 1991; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I have no funds at my disposal in the context of the project of Dublin as the European Community's cultural capital for 1991. However, I have asked my Department to investigate the possibility of highlighting Dublin's maritime heritage in some suitable fashion during the course of 1991.
