106 Mr. Spring asked the Minister for Justice (a) the funds (b) the resources and (c) the ideas or other supports he plans to contribute towards the effort of Dublin as the European Community cultural capital for 1991; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
A number of ideas are under consideration in my Department in relation to ways in which the various services for which I have responsibility may be able to contribute to the cultural activities which will mark the designation of our Capital City as the European Community cultural capital for 1991.
It has not been considered necessary to allocate funds or resources to these services specifically for this purpose and I am satisfied that this will not inhibit their participation by any appropriate means.
