Question:33 Mr. J. Mitchell asked the Minister for Labour the number of licensed trade unions on 30 November, 1989 and on 30 November, 1990; and if he will outline the number of these with a membership of less than 2,000 on both dates.

There were 64 licensed trade unions of workers at 30 November 1989 and 63 at the 30 November 1990. Of these 29 and 30, respectively, had less than 2,000 members.
