Question:44 Mr. Cotter asked the Minister for Finance if the Government are willing to deploy a section of his Department to Monaghan under the Government's decentralisation programme and if he will make a statement on the matter.
Written Answers. - Decentralisation Programme.
As the Deputy may be aware, earlier in the year the Government announced their decision to extend the decentralisation programme to five additional centres throughout the country.
I regret that Monaghan was not amongst the centres chosen for this extension to the programme from the many locations considered.
