Question:160 Mr. Spring asked the Minister for the Environment if funds will be provided for a sewage treatment plant for Tralee Urban District Council during 1991; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I refer to the reply to Question No. 25 of 31 May 1990. I understand that work on an environmental impact study is being finalised and that the further planning of the proposal will be undertaken by the Urban District Council when the study is completed and assessed. The question of providing funds does not arise at this stage.
