Vol. 404 No. 6

Written Answers. - National Lottery Funding.

Michael Lowry

Question:

168 Mr. Lowry asked the Minister for the Environment the current position regarding an application made to his Department for funds from the national lottery in the name of the Ballingarry Tidy Towns Committee which was submitted by a person (details supplied) in County Tipperary.

This project was not among those recommended to me by the local authority for consideration under the amenities/recreational facilities grants scheme 1990.

As indicated in my reply to Questions Nos. 290, 301, 311 and 329 of 30 January 1991, there will be a further scheme this year and it will be open to the sponsors of the projects to apply under that scheme.
