Vol. 404 No. 6

Written Answers. - Ballygar (County Galway) School.

John Connor

Question:

197 Mr. Connor asked the Minister for Education if her attention has been drawn to the need to provide new classroom space at St. Mary's secondary school, Ballygar, County Galway to replace the deficient and unsafe old prefabricated structures that pass as classrooms in this school; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

I have met a number of deputations from the school authorities and other interested parties regarding this project. I have also visited the school and am aware of the particular circumstances of this case and will be keeping the matter under review.
