The total cost of the launch of the Programme for Economic and Social Progress in Dublin Castle on 22 January is £9,305.44, including rent of the Conference Centre, display, lighting, equipment and catering. This launch is not exceptional. It has been the standard practice of Governments for many years to launch documents of this nature in this way in order to disseminate information about their importance and merits.
