Question:48 Mr. J. Higgins asked the Minister for Justice if he will advance plans to build a new Garda station in Ballina, County Mayo to replace the present inadequate structure; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
Written Answers. - Ballina (County Mayo) Garda Accommodation.
It is not proposed to build a new Garda station in Ballina, County Mayo but the question of providing additional station accommodation there is being considered. This may be possible by incorporating into the existing station the vacant married quarters which adjoin it and this is being examined.
