Seán Barrett

Question:

138 Mr. S. Barrett asked the Minister for Justice if he will make a decision regarding the future structure and operations of the Family Mediation Service arising out of his reply to Parliamentary Question No. 63 of 25 April 1990 when he stated that he proposed to appoint a committee to examine all the various possible options and to advise him accordingly, following which he would put proposals to Government; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I propose to take Questions Nos. 56, 70 and 138 together.

I am in the process of appointing this review committee and I will make a full announcement shortly about the membership and the terms of reference.
