Question:86 Mr. Flanagan asked the Minister for Finance when a VAT rebate will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Offaly.

I am advised by the Revenue Commissioners that the repayment claim in question refers to taxable period July/August 1990. After offsetting part of the claim against liabilities for taxable periods May/June 1989 and July/August 1989, a cheque for the balance of £685.42 was issued to the person concerned on 4 February, 1991 in settlement.
