118 Mrs. T. Ahearn asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce his views on the plans for a Resource Centre Project, submitted to his Department by Cashel Urban District Council, County Tipperary; when funding will be made available for this project; the amount of money involved; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
As envisaged in my reply to the Deputy's question on 4 December 1990 — Vol. 403, col. No. 861 of the Official Report — the Minister for Science and Technology met the urban district council on 5 December 1990 to discuss the matter. The outcome of that meeting and of further detailed discussions between my officials and the urban district council is that a revised proposal for an information technology centre is currently being examined.
I will arrange to have the Deputy informed of the outcome of this examination.
