Question:

175 Mr. R. Bruton asked the Minister for Health whether a cardiac unit has been provided in Monaghan; if so, when it was provided; and whether it is in use.

There is a three bed unit in Monaghan General Hospital in which coronary care patients are placed and monitored. This unit came into operation about ten years ago and continues to be used.
