I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given to me under standing order 20 (3) (a) and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy John Ellis — the establishment of a woodpulp mill within the State, and the progress made in relation to same; (2) Deputy Mary Flaherty — the future of the Ballymun Job Centre; (3) Deputy Jimmy Leonard — the system of allocating funding from the International Fund for Ireland and the input of the Department of Finance in this regard; (4) Deputy Theresa Ahearn — the delay in bringing into being the already sanctioned resource centre in Cashel, County Tipperary; (5) Deputy Charles Flanagan — the matter of funding the Midland Health Board, with particular reference to the status of the general hospital at Portlaoise; (6) Deputy Ted Nealon — the refusal of the Minister for the Environment to provide full funding for the repair of defective chimneys to tenant purchasers and other categories of purchasers of Sligo Corporation houses in Cranmore Estate, Sligo, and the unreasonable conditions of indemnity against legal action being demanded by Sligo Corporation on the instructions of the Minister for the Environment before repair work commences on the tenant houses; (7) Deputy Tony Gregory — the serious decay in inner city flat complexes in Dublin, resulting in deteriorating living conditions for thousands of corporation tenants arising out of the refusal of the Department of the Environment to make the necessary funding available to Dublin Corporation; (8) Deputy Joe Doyle — if the Minister for the Marine will make representations to Sealink in order to prevent the closure of the container terminals at Dublin and Holyhead; (9) Deputy John Browne— the subject matter of Question No. 26 of 28 November 1990 regarding car lamps which cannot be dimmed properly and are a danger on the road at night time; (10) Deputy Jimmy Deenihan — the major crisis being faced by the Irish Olympic Council because of the threatened withdrawal of special funding for preparation for the Olympics in 1992; (11) Deputy Enda Kenny — the question of the authorisation for phase two of Castlebar General Hospital, County Mayo; (12) Deputy Roger Garland — the release of the Stag report on the disappearance of sea trout from Connemara and South Mayo; and the implications for the future of the salmon farming industry in Ireland, in particular the lack of urgency in dealing with this problem by the Department of Marine; (13) Deputy Joe Sherlock — the reported proposals to close the post office in Bartlemy, County Cork; (14) Deputy Pat McCartan — the circumstances surrounding the visit of the EC Director of Fisheries to Howth on 5 February 1991; and the failure of the Department of the Marine to arrange a meeting with the Howth Fishermen's Association; (15) Deputy Eric Byrne — the continued operation of illegal moneylenders as highlighted in a recent court case in Limerick, where an unlicensed moneylender was convicted of charging a rate of 1,300 per cent; (16) Deputy Pat Rabbitte — the reported decision that the Department of Health is not to proceed with the building of the Tallaght Regional Hospital in 1991; (17) Deputy Eamon Gilmore — the dispute in RTE that has led to the indefinite suspension of RTE orchestras; and (18) Deputy Bernard Allen — the question of returning emigrants who are homeless who are finding it extremely difficult to obtain housing because of the housing crisis.
